Vehicle For the Mission Centre

The current vehicle of the Mission Centre in Nicaragua has been an important and essential tool for our mission work in the country for the past decade. However, due to heavy use and the road conditions in the country, it’s starting to have mechanical problems. Because the Mission relies heavily on having a dependable vehicle, the Centre would like to sell the current vehicle and purchase a newer truck.

I want to support getting a vehicle for the Mission Centre in Nicaragua.

Music Program in Nicaragua

The Church in Nicaragua has been blessed with talented musicians who have been able to conduct the music for the Divine Services, as well as train future musicians of the Church. This important project helps support the training of musicians, particularly in remote congregations, so that each congregation will be able to make melody to the Lord in their worship.

Feeding Program/Pan De Vida

The program provides disadvantaged children with nutritious meals in eight churches several times a week. Just $1.50 can provide a substantial and healthy meal for a child. The feeding stations have between 40 to 80 registered children attending in each of these churches. The children also hear Bible stories and participate in prayers and Christian singing.

Relief Aid for Church Workers in Nicaragua

Most of the church workers in our sister Church in Nicaragua cannot afford adequate medical care. For several years, LCC has provided financial assistance to our sister Church in Nicaragua to help cover the costs of urgent medical care and treatments for the pastors and deaconesses serving the Church. In order to continue to assist in this area, LCC has established a medical aid fund to support the church workers of ILSN.

Community Children’s Feeding Programs, Nicaragua

$1.50 can provide a substantial and healthy meal for a child in any community in Nicaragua. There are groups of anywhere from 40 to 80 children in each of the Central American feeding programs where the children hear Bible studies and learn the Small Catechism. A deaconess and pastor lead the programs while the children are fed once or twice a week. The funding goal for the project has increased this year to allow even more children to access the program.
