Myanmar Ministry

This newly adopted project will provide opportunities for church workers
from Myanmar, formerly Burma, to attend a Theological Education
Workshop in Thailand in May 2025. Also included in this project is the
purchase of a gas generator to use in villages where there is no electricity.
They have obtained a projector from the Thailand Lutheran Church and wish
to show Bible story videos to the children and families in these various
locations.

Myanmar is a struggling nation, experiencing brutal crimes and repression
throughout the country. Only 6% of the population is Christian, with 88%
Buddhist. There is great need to bring God’s Word to these people.

I want to support ministry in Myanmar.

Equipping the Churches, Cambodia

As Cambodia Lutheran Church’s ministry continues to grow and expand, many new churches, particularly in economically challenged areas, do not yet have pulpits, altars, and baptismal fonts. This project is to help CLC procure these essential tools and equipment for conducting the Divine Services in new congregations across the country.

I want to support divine service development in Cambodia.

Ministry Support for Northern Thailand

Our sister church, Thailand Concordia Lutheran Church has been expanding God’s mission in the northern part of Thailand, particularly among the various Hill Tribes in that part of the country. TCLC with the support of LCC is now developing a new mission among the Shan people, an immigrant community originally from Myanmar who have settled in the Chiang Mai area. This pilot outreach project will support the ministry within this community, covering a rental facility, travel and support for evangelists, and Gospel materials. Rev. Niran Temsakun, TCLC’s senior pastor in the north of Thailand, and his evangelism team will be leading this new mission development.

I want to support Rev. Niran Temsakun’s outreach mission in northern Thailand.

Mission & Ministry Support for Southern Thailand

Rev. Suchart Chujit continues to serve the parish of Khok Kloi with worshiping communities in Kapong, Grassom, Thaimong and Tung Maphrao. as well as new preaching stations in the Phuket region. This project provides a stipend to supplement Rev. Chujit’s income and covers some transportation costs, enabling him to offer the ministry of Word and Sacrament throughout this region.

CLMS has posted the video of Thai children playing angklungs, bamboo instruments. They played “Take it to the Lord in Prayer” at the 2024 Thailand Lutheran Church 20th anniversary celebrations. YouTube may offer further videos, but we take no responsibility for their content as they do not necessarily support the beliefs of CLMS.

I want to support Pastor Chujit in Thailand.
